Concepts of Cannabis Science I
Our Concepts of Cannabis Science I course is a four week educational course designed to introduce learners to a wide variety of Cannabis topics like Cannabis botany, taxonomy, contaminants of Cannabis products, Cannabis chemistry and extraction technology, the endocannabinoid system, and Cannabis consumption methods. Upon completing the course, learners will receive a certificate of completion issued by the OCERC.
Concepts of Cannabis Science II
In this intermediate level four week course, learners will dive deeper into Cannabis science exploring topics like CBD's interactions with the body, the history of the therapeutic use of Cannabis, current and future Cannabis research targets, cannabinoid toxicology, and more. Upon completion of the course, learners will receive a certificate of completion issued by the OCERC.
Home Cannabis Testing for THC and CBD
Have you ever wanted to test your homegrown Cannabis for THC and CBD content? In this workshop, learn how to perform your own THC and CBD tests at home on Cannabis flowers, leaves, and extracts. Discover how to utilize the technology of thin layer chromatography to not only measure cannabinoid levels, but identify optimum harvest times, measure decarboxylation efficiency, and more! Attendees will receive a testing kit containing all the supplies necessary to test up to 20 or more Cannabis samples for THC and CBD, courtesy of TLC Lab Supply, a Southern Oregon based company.
